How to Connect Stripe Hardware Products to Your Mobile Device Using the i2 POS App
Introduction
Welcome to the i2 POS support guide. This article will help you connect various Stripe hardware products, including the Stripe M2 Credit Card Reader and the WisePOS Credit Card Terminal, which both pair to a cell phone or iPad, and the s700 standalone Credit Card Terminal. These steps ensure a seamless experience when using the i2 POS App for processing payments.
Quicks Tips for Troubleshooting
- Check Power: Ensure all devices are adequately charged or connected to power.
- Ensure Network Connection: Please make sure your devices are connected to a reliable and secure internet source.
- Restart Devices: If the connection fails, try restarting both your mobile device and the card reader or terminal.
- Update Software: Make sure the i2 POS App and all hardware: terminal, phones, iPads, and M2s are updated.
- Re-Pairing: Remove the device from the i2 POS App and pair it again as a new device. You can do this by accessing a phone or iPad's settings and forgetting all devices that have been connected via bluetooth. Exit out of all apps and re-open. You can do the same thing for internet networks.
